I strategised this lead-gen campaign for event & hospitality providers, Levy UK+I, with the aim of capturing high-quality attendee data at their Christmas parties.
Users could scan a QR code to be taken to the virtual cracker – where they tapped to ‘pull’ and then received a joke, and potentially a festive prize. This served as a fun data capture vehicle, whilst also reducing waste for the client whose key focus is sustainability.
I led the build of this campaign, working with designers and developers to create the interactive website, fun ‘cracker’ elements, email win/lose logic and communications, plus supporting collateral including posters, screen adverts and table cards for use in 11 stadium venues across the UK.
Results
- 4,000 warm leads through ‘pulls’ on the cracker
- 10 ‘earlybird’ Christmas party bookings for the following year through a 10% off consolation prize
- Reduced paper waste of 4,000 crackers, with the cracker website hosted on a sustainable server to support their Net Zero goals
